My Path in Therapies

Twelve years before becoming an Acharya, I trained in alternative therapies. That's what we called any massage technique, listening technique, or healing approach that diverged from mainstream traditional medicine. In 1989, few training programs were recognized and integrated into institutional curricula as they are today. I can say I'm one of the pioneers, drawing directly from sources such as a monk skilled in Shiatsu from the Japanese Shingon Buddhism school (True Word), and later learning massage techniques at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, from someone trained there in the seventies.

I completed the full training in Holotropic Breathwork, part of the Grof Training, from 1994 to 1997, also serving as Stanislav Grof's translator during that training—his first in Brazil. This training prepares facilitators for deep experiences and offers a perspective on participants' understanding, viewing perinatal matrices as formative of personality and behavioral patterns, including somatizations and tendencies towards physical health imbalances.

In 2007, while practicing yoga, I turned to Ayurveda for my own healing and became acquainted with the system, eventually completing a two-year training as an Ayurvedic therapist from 2009 to 2010. Although I never strictly practiced as an Ayurvedic therapist due to the immense dedication required for studies and research—which I already committed to Kriya Yoga—I did incorporate Ayurvedic principles into my work and daily life.

Yogatherapy
In 2009, I also met Laurier-Pierre Desjardins, a kriyaban initiated by Yogi Ramaiah, much like MG Satchidananda. Pierre, as we call him, is an osteopath who studied under Georg Feuerstein and developed a Yogatherapy method closely aligned with Babaji's Kriya Yoga and tantric principles, while also integrating Western medicine concepts. This method identifies where the "issue" occurs and utilizes known yoga resources.

While yoga's aim isn't cure but self-realization and the realization of God within oneself, Yogatherapy employs yogic techniques and concepts to support the evolution process and address disturbances.

Mentoring and Individual Sessions
During sessions, there's exchange through dialogue and feedback, counseling, and assignments such as affirmations (sankalpa), mantra practice, breathwork, dietary adjustments, asana (posture) practice, and pranayama (breathing exercises).
Sessions can be conducted in person or online, for a specified period to address specific issues.
